The International Club of spurs, stirrups, bits, saddle Collectors was created in 1986 by a French collector of the city of Lyon. Immediately, he were joined by a dozen of spurs, stirrups, bits, saddle and tack collectors. In 2012, this Club joins 50 collectors together, coming from all parts of the World, some people are real specialists in the field of spurs, stirrups, bits and saddle. These items can be very old because horse took a very important place across the ages. The most important Horse Museum are also part of the European Club. The club publishes a news letter « La Lettre » every three months, a document of more or less 100 pages, strictly reserved to the members and created with the full participation of all members. The published articles are largely concerning the purpose of spurs, stirrups, bits, saddle and tack around the world, from Antiquity to the present day. Further information |
